About Us The Mitered Corner, established in 1983, is a family owned and operated custom picture framing business in the Seattle area. Our goal is to provide the best possible framing service for each customer in a relaxed atmosphere. We are committed to the use of fine quality materials, craftsmanship, and knowledgeable design. Our business has continued to grow over the years through our faithful customers and their referrals. All of our work is done on site by the family. Your treasures are stored in our fire safe while under our care. We hand pick the products that we use looking for quality of manufacture, design, and function. We don't just sell a product - we research it before using it and watch how it performs over time in the framed examples in our store. We look for manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and will stand behind the products they produce. Our store is bright, open, a bit old fashioned, and filled with natural light. We have ample free parking and are a short commute from downtown, West Seattle, Burien, Des Moines, Renton, Beacon Hill and many other communities. In fact, our customers are so loyal that many continue to send their framing to us even when they have moved to other states. We accept personal checks and cash for payments. Our business has been actively involved in the picture framing industry on the local and national level through the Evergreen Picture Framers Guild, Professional Picture Framers Association, and the Guild of Fine Art and Treatment Standards. We have a Certified Picture Framer (CPF®) on staff, and we attend education programs on a regular basis to keep abreast of changes in the industry that will benefit our customers.
